The weather gods shone on us for a change, literally. The day started with light winds, from the north, picking up as the day went on and creating the inevitable low level turbulence. There was little cloud and the sun actually shone! Flying got under way quite early thanks to the co-operation of everyone in setting out the winches. The air was turbulent with little sign of lift but little bumps here and there. This made for inconsistent scoring and it wasn’t until the last round that the slot was flown out to eight minutes.
Keith and Paul advanced to the fly-off. Paul won the first leg but his model malfunctioned during the second leg making Keith the winner. Well done Keith.
